We are specialists in Workday® (HCM and Financials)
Since our conception in 2015 we have endeavoured to become global specialists in the recruitment of individuals that specialise within the Workday® system. Our solution is one of transparency and honesty.
We will work closely with you to investigate the full range of requirements needed and then begin to support your project from whatever stage you may be at. Our Consultants are trained and developed by those in our highly developed network. By utilising an almost infinite pool of Workday® knowledge we are able to identify your problems with precision. We can work with you throughout the different stages of your project and hire accordingly.
At Focus Cloud we have a clear understanding of the different stages of a Workday Programme and we can delivery staffing solutions, contract or permanent in all of them:
Pre-Planning
At this stage you need to create a business case for your potential system change and need advice to select the correct modules to fit your goals and budget. During this stage you will go through initial discovery to ensure you have the correct business transformation and Workday™ implementation scope in your SOW’s to meet your organisations specific needs.
To begin your implementation your Project Manager will either hire your delivery team or work with the team from your consulting partner to customise your system development to comply your stakeholder, user, geographical and industry requirements.
Planning
At the planning stage of your Workday™ implementation your will establish project management and administration based on the agreed upon scope in addition to securing your resources for the project. The objectives of the Plan stage are to confirm the project scope, initiate project activities and establish project management processes and controls. The project goals, plan, timeline, milestones, deliverables, resources and responsibilities are drafted and reviewed in this stage. Project work streams (functional, integrations, reporting, etc.) are initiated to align on approach, resources and schedules. Some activities in this stage will be influenced by the deployment approach (Medium Enterprise vs. Large Enterprise, staggered vs. big bang) or the modules being deployed.
Architect
The Architect stage of a Workday® deployment allows the customer and Workday® project team members to find a common understanding of the customer's business needs and to analyze how Workday® will be deployed to meet those needs. During this stage Workday® concepts and functions will be reviewed and design decisions gathered. This stage focuses on understanding business requirements and how Workday® can be configured to leverage customer business requirements and delivered optimized configurations/business processes to design the Workday™ configuration.
Configure & Prototype
Using an iterative approach, the Workday™ architected design is implemented through the use of prototypes. The process focuses on advancing the configurations to best satisfy business requirements.
The objective of the Configure and Prototype stage of a deployment is to complete the configuration of the Workday® application based on the specifications gathered in the Foundation Alignment Session. In this stage, all application configurations are completed in Workday. Data conversions for both configuration data (i.e., setup, organizations, business processes) and operational data (i.e., workers, customers) are executed. Integration and report development are completed, and the tenant is prepared for the Test stage. The users in your organisation have the excitement of experiencing the main parts of your system for the first time. The delivery team will continue the integration, testing and training of your product, an employee contact centre or helpdesk is in place to provide support services for the users, plans for additional SaaS modules for the system are made and data admin is in full flow.
The HR team are busy acquiring new talent and putting a strategy in place to build a team for continued system development, innovation and user training; Focus Cloud are here to help you with your planning for post-production and Business as usual resourcing needs.
Test
The Test stage of a Workday™ deployment ensures the configured Workday™ system sufficiently meets the needs of the customer’s business.
Each test effort has a different set of conditions and a different purpose. The agreed-upon exit criteria for each test effort must be met to move forward toward a go-live.
Deploy
Once you have met all of the exit criteria for the Test stage, they are ready to move on to the Deploy stage, where you will go live on Workday™ in a production environment using all of the features and integrations configured and tested during previous stages.
Post Production Support
After Go-Live your organisations employees begin taking advantage of all the designed and testing functionality. This helps you begin to learn more about your organisation and your ever-changing business needs. Sometimes your business has had a change since the design and deployment of Workday® and the system needs to be adapted to meet new requirements or new update enhancements are availability to resolve pending design needs.
